Prime Minister’s New National Economic Development Plan

Islamabad — The Prime Minister presented a comprehensive plan for the country’s economic recovery at a meeting of the National Economic Council today. The project is expected to attract an investment of Rs 500 billion over the next five years.

The plan sets targets for the modernization of agriculture, the development of small and medium enterprises and the doubling of exports. Economists have welcomed the move.
